Community Involvement

The Minneapolis bicycle community survives and thrives through the passionate involvement of individuals as well as bicycle shops. We take our role especially seriously within the neighborhoods that host and support us.

Instead of an advertising budget, we have a community involvement budget. In the summer you'll see our Mobile Repair Unit giving out free repairs at the Northeast Farmers Market or trailing one of the community rides. We've been able to help Edison High School start a bicycle education class for their special needs program. We help maintain the bicycle library at Augsburg College. We lend out bikes during Open Streets events.

Below is a list of some of the things we've done:
Ride support for the Northeast Ride -
Twin Cities Bike Walk Move
Audoban Neighborhood, Northeast, and West Broadway Farmers Markets
Marcy Open School
Open Streets
Edison High School
